Siamese fighting fish are supposedly ferocious. In the past, children in tropical regions sometimes placed two males together in a jar to watch them fight.
However fierce and aggressive they are reputed to be, the reality is that in the wild, when males encounter each other and quarrel ensues, they usually part ways before any serious injuries occur.
We humans are rarely cornered into limited spaces, yet some of us still engage in destructive quarrels, isn’t this so?
In sticky situations, the best response may simply to be swim away. It shouldn’t be so hard , even the little Siamese fighting fish can easily do it.
