It’s almost year-end and there are possibly a few more physical or mental scars on some of us than in the year before. These things happen…it’s part of life, they say.
Most scars are not that pretty, whether they are on your body or your soul. They usually represent a painful past, things we didn’t want to happen, but they do.
Well, it seems that the broken tree branch in the photo above can help us grasp how scars are not at all wasteful. And it describes beautifully in just one photo.
We were thinking about the person who put that swinging chair on that broken tree branch. What was he/she really thinking to come up with the idea. It probably not as simple as “Just do it”, we presume.
One thing for certain is that the person definitely has “imagination”. But most of all, we would like to think it’s “wisdom”. What is unsightly and painful does not mean useless or something to back away from, the person must have thought.
For many, they can build from broken places. All things, no matters how aching or prickly, are not wasted if we can just use some of our wonderful insights.
