A day before this picture was just blackness.

Visually, the new moon is not much to look at—just a partial circular line with a shred of sparkling light. Yet it is symbolizes a fresh start and a new beginning. We often wonder why. 

Perhaps it’s because we all need to maintain a positive outlook to survive and move on. We must be able to imagine and believe that one day we will be as full and shiny as a full moon, despite currently being just a tiny sliver, not even a full circle. Nothing feels complete or grand. 

Sometimes, all we need is a new beginning.
