At the beginning, after living in caves, we begin with a home. Then as our world becomes more developed in materials aspects, there are houses. This follows by castles, chateaux and palaces. And nowadays there are mansions, residence buildings, villas and whatever next to come that should sounds distinctive and extravagant. 

When we look at that blue bird proudly residing on his cradle, we are wondering what he would call his nest if he’s a human. Umm..

Back to a “home” has many definitions but seems to define by emotional connection rather than physical aspects. 

“A house is made of bricks and stones but a home is made of love alone” was one of the precepts we often heard. “ It takes hands to build a house, but only hearts can build a home” was another pretty one. One of the cutest we think is “ A house is made of walls and beams, a home is made of love and dreams”.  We rest our case on Home’s sentimental meanings. 

Now back to that blue bird and his nest. We are thinking that maybe at the moment the photo was taken, he was not even thinking at all about his proud residence. Maybe he was simply resting serenely, doing his chores with deep conviction of love, and dreaming of a beautiful future to come. 

And maybe that also what should be called our home, a little place in our heart where love, hopes and dreams thrive..maybe that is our true home.
