In environments that are somewhat harsh and where lives are at stakes, Mother Nature kindly provides the penguins with “countershading” camouflage of black and white. Their black backs help them blend in with the dark depths of ocean when viewed from above, while their white bellies conceal them from predators when looking up from below against the bright sky. But out in the open snowy grounds don’t they not looking distinct and glorious ?
.
Billions of us mingled together everyday and we are somewhat camouflaged and safe. Then there are those of us that are adventurous enough to unpack and walk out into the world to claim their distinctions and splendid uniqueness. It probably not so safe and not so comfortable, but is it not a glorious sight..like that lone penguin.
.
Looking at the photo, the photographer believes the lone penguin walking on that iceberg was not to show us its magnificent presence, but it has just escaped from a danger below.
.
Similarly, for many of us, their glorious lives of adventure sometimes derived from dangers around us. To escape & survive and eventually to claim our glories is what making life most memorable.
