There are some elements in this world that are more elusive than others. Diamonds, for instance, are rarer than plain old rocks, gold is harder to find than regular sand stone. These rare elements become unique and valuable, and are usually high in demand. But acquiring these objects often becomes a burden, and they are costly.
One of the greatest blessings humans have on this Earth is there are “unlimited supplies” of the things we need the most in our pursuit of enduring happiness. It can be found almost everywhere on the planet.
They are, however, not material objects that we can admire with our sensory perceptions. But they carry amazing strength in other areas, the kind of strength that can carry us across worldly hardships and give us super light cloudy floats through good times.
Then comes a bad break. These “unlimited supplies” of goodies do not really align with the human commercial outlook. But humans love their theory. Let’s see: highly desirable yet does not cost anything, can be found almost anywhere we set our foot on…yes, that is surely not going to work with our doctrine.
And, we are taught, anything that doesn’t go along with our beloved theory should not be trusted. Putting energy into acquiring things against our cherished ideas are then deemed as somewhat a waste of time. These goodies that we have a very reasonable chance to acquire are often devalued and put aside by the many.
