It seems a debatable question.
- Physically, it certainly seems to be true
- Certain temperatures are needed
- Certain nutrients are needed
- Certain amount of fluids are needed
- Gravity can damage the body if we fall down a few meters
That sounds quite fragile, isn’t it?
What about mental fragility?
For centuries we seem to have been quite solid. We are mentally strong, motivated and can always will ourselves to strive forward no matter what the odds. Humans have made progress despite all the hardships inflicted by nature and themselves.
But times maybe changing. Many of us succumb to what did not seem like hurdles centuries ago. A few frivolous wordings and visual perceptions and many lose their mental balance, and abruptly become unstable and compromised.
We often wonder why people are more mentally fragile nowadays ?
Humans have great imagination. That, combined with the massive amounts of information now available at one’s fingertips, can be the perfect storm to test our wills.
But like most problems mankind has faced before, we will eventually find ways to tide over it.
